Ontario Travel Golf Destinations North of Toronto

The Globe and Mail talked about the Golf destinations and Ontario's golf wars in this weekends Travel section. Author, Brian Kendall got it right about the many courses in Toronto's backyard, however he "missed the fairway" by only mentioning the high end exclusive courses that few can afford to play. Kendall also ended up in the "rough" with his portrayal of the golf world north of Toronto having only two choices, Georgian Bay and Muskoka. How about all of the other golf destinations including the Barrie area all within Ontario's Simcoe County and an hours drive north of Toronto.
