Catherine George in the weekend Toronto Star provides an number of good fall tips with her article titled, Leaf peepers prepare: Show is set to begin. In addition to her several suggested Ontario travel routes, the Ontario Travel North website provides a bit more detail on the several destinations recommended by George. For example, there are a couple of possible routes in and around Algonquin Park, the Algonquin Northern Fall Colour Route includes north Muskoka or the Southern Fall Colour Route which touches on Haliburton. The Algonquin routes are detailed with suggested stops, accommodation, and local attractions, with a breakdown of the roads and routes with appropriate road numbers, turning locations and approximate driving times and distances.
