Ontario's Peace Highway--Highway 90 starts in Barrie

Ontario Travel to Ontario's Peace Highway

November and "lest we forget" gives us all a time to pause. Perhaps, this is the best time to take the Peace Highway to the Base Borden and visit the Military Museum The Highway 90 route from Barrie to Angus, and the Base Borden Military Base has been named the Peace Highway.

On your way along Highway 90 you may be interested in finding Utopia....It would be wonderful if there were a spiritual link in addition to the highway link. The road to Utopia also leads to a historic old Grist Mill which is located on Bear Creek, part of the Nottawasaga Conservation Authority in Essa Township halfway between Barrie and Angus,. Watch for sign on left when travelling west to Angus. There is a campaign to restore the historic Ontario mill.
