north very happy on their vacations.
Perhaps the historic destination with the earliest Ontario History is
Huronia, with the Martyrs' Shrine and Saint Marie Among the Hurons and
the Ouendat Indian village at the Huronia Museum. Hailebury is located
in the new region of Temiskaming shores, and boasts some of the best fishing

and a charming village with some of the best year round recreation close
to Algonquin Provincial Park.

Haliburton offers up some of the best four season resort destination
in the province of Ontario and is a mecca for winter
sports enthusiasts.
Sporting activities include everything from the Luge, to Ice Racing cars,
downhill skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing.

Huronia
Huronia is a favorite destination year round as well and is particularly
popular in the north boundry--the shores of Georgian Bay one of Ontario's
cleanest and most popular lakes, often consider the 6th Great Lake. A
variety of events, getaway packages, and attractions can be found at Georgian
Bay Tourism and those with an interest in the ecological well being
of the "Great Lakes" would be pleased to know two biosphere
reserves exist on this pristine body of water. See Georgian
