Cookstown Tree Lighting Santa Parade

The delights of both a Santa Claus parade and a tree lighting ceremony in Cookstown Ontario (south of Barrie-north of Toronto) showed an old fashioned Christmas fun feeling in a community proud of their heritage and traditions. Additonal fun activities included window shopping to see the best displays, a studio tour that runs two days. and of course people watching (especially smiling and laughing children), and a little pre Christmas shopping at the same time.
