Ontario Camping and the experiences of a camping trip with Dad to one of Ontario's many campgrounds is often the first exposure to Ontario’s great outdoors. Hiking, fishing, using an axe, cooking over a fire along with the excitement of pitching the tent, getting firewood, lighting the camp fire, all bring back fond childhood memories. The smell of sizzling maple-curried bacon and boiling coffee on a cool morning are good reasons to get out of the tent and enjoy the camp site, and get out in the canoe for an early morning paddle. Ontario is one of the best camping destinations in North America with lots of choice from Provincial Park campgrounds, National Park campgrounds, and privately owned campgrounds. Prices vary depending on the camp site and amenities offered. |
