The Lodge At Pine Cove
This romantic resort is made up of a main lodge and fifteen cottages ranging from studios to 1, 2 and 3-bedrooms, all stylishly and thoughtfully designed. Each rental cottage is equipped with en-suite showers and toilets, screened porches, handcrafted wooden furniture and comfortable king or queen-sized beds. Some cottages have a full kitchen and wood-burning stove. Both the main Lodge and the cottages blend the ambiance and craftsmanship of yesteryear with the ecological sensitivity required to protect nature's bounty. The Lodge at Pine Cove is nestled on 2,600 feet of waterfront between picturesque Wolseley Bay and Pine Cove. It is a spectacular 6,500 sq. ft. lodge that was completely renovated and rebuilt in 2001-2003. The Lodge is best known for its peace and tranquility in a stunning setting on the French River - a system of lakes that stretch for miles around thelodge and are virtually undeveloped. Kayak, canoe, swim, fish, paint/draw, eat on our magnificent screened porch by the water or just relax and read a book in your cottage porch. |

Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre
Our Spring & Summer Canoe Program gives people a chance to experience a wetland in an interesting and enjoyable manner. Wye Marsh educators will lead groups through the marsh channels in a 24 foot canoe. Participants partake in light paddling while the guide navigates and points out some of the natural features of one of nature most productive ecosystems. No experience needed! Join us at Wye Marsh on the weekends in May and June for a guided canoe along the marsh channels and learn about the environment that surrounds us. In July and August both will run daily along with our exciting summer programs. Times are as follows: Canoes Tours 9:30 am, 11:00 am,
12:30 pm, 2:00 pm, and 3:30 pm |
