Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre

Come and experience the Wye Valley in winter! Nature at its' best! Groomed and track set trails wander through snow laden conifers, sparkling clearings and old logging roads along hardwood ridges. Several lookouts provide a scenic panorama of the 1000 hectare Wye Valley. Ski Facilities include over 22 km of trails forested and track-set trails, full cross country ski rentals available. Blue Spruce Resort

Blue Spruce Resort is a spectacular fully equipped Cottage Resort and Motel, perfectly at home in nature's domain located in a world, simply, unto itself.

Blue Spruce Resort is located on the shores of Oxtongue Lake , 5 minutes from the West Gate of Algonquin Park. Come and enjoy the old-fashioned winter that you remember. The snow stays white, you can see the stars, and skating on the floodlit lakeside rink is a toe-tingling pleasure. Our own cross-country ski trails are groomed and track set, if that is your sport. Return to the warmth of your own fireplace in our most comfortably furnished cottages and suites. Algonquin Park has 90 kms. of cross-country ski trails available in three trail networks. Snowshoeing is permitted on the sides of our Cross Country Ski Trails and the new 5 km. Beetle Lake trail that winds its way around the north end of Oxtongue Lake is available from the Resort.

We have one, two and three bedroom cottages which all have fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, gas BBQ’s and fully equipped kitchens. Studios and Suites are single bedroom with a kitchen. Suites have a fireplace, just bring your food and everything is ready for you to enjoy your holiday.

Bondi Village Cottage Resort

Bondi Village maintains our own 20 km ski trail network that starts from your cottage door. This single track trail system is uncrowded and offers a variety of terrain and some spectacular views. We offer showshoeing and snowshoe rentals at Bondi. Ski equipment sales and rentals are nearby. Algonquin and Arrowhead Park ski areas are just a few minutes drive from Bondi. Alpine skiing is available at Hidden Valley, just 12 km away. Other adventures like dog sledding and horse drawn sleigh rides can be arranged locally.

With our unique location high atop Blue Mountain, we created the most varied natural playground anywhere in Ontario.  22 kms cross country ski trails groomed for both classic and skate skiing. Snowshoe across Ontario’s Longest Suspension Footbridge providing spectacular views or on the 7km of snowshoe trails. Ski and snowshoe equipment rentals available. Warm up hut serving delicious hot foods, waxing facilities, and lessons available. Guided night snowshoe hikes. Open 7 days per week, December to March.

Township of Algonquin Highlands Trails Department

The Township of Algonquin Highlands Trails Department manages two areas for interior camping the Frost Centre and Poker Lakes Areas as well at 38 km of hiking, 26 km of cross country skiing (www.skithefrost.ca) / snowshoeing & 100's kms of snowmobile trails.

Cross country skis and snowshoe can be rented at our Trails Office located at the Frost Centre Access Point (20130 Hwy 35) please contact 705-766-9033 for information or to reserve equipment. Our Office is open 10am – 3pm daily.

We are a full service nordic ski and mountain bike centre providing trails for all levels of riders and skiers. We are open seven days a week and offer rentals, retail nordic ski and bike shop, lessons, cafe and children's programs.
