Description: Feb. 6 - 8 - Port Carling Winterfest 2009 - A winter weekend of fun, food and entertainment. Passports are $5, children 13 and under are free. The festival begins Friday evening with fireworks, hot dogs, and hot chocolate and a MUCH MUSIC Video Dance. Saturday is a full day of evens for the whole family, including log sawing, a dog show, craft sale, kid\'s games such as crazy carpet hill, donut eating, nail driving, firefighter challenge, and grand prix car races, horse and wagon rides, Jam Sandwich - children\'s entertainers, roast beef dinner and a rock and roll dance with the Muskoka Roads on Saturday night. Sunday\'s events include a pancake breakfast, dog sled rides, snow soccer, polar bear dip, and the snow snake competition. Then come and have lunch at the legion and vote on your favourite dessert in the Chef\'s Dessert Challenge.
