Travel north of Toronto to Farmers' markets with many open all year. During the spring season local fresh 2013 Maple syrup is on sale. Local Produce is abundant in late spring, summer and fall. Local cheese, meat and fresh fish is year round.   Combine a culinary festival event with a farmers' market visit  or a agricultural fair with fresh local food tastes and culinary delights north of the Toronto GTA.

A Farmers' market visit in combination with a food festival or local food event are becoming year round activities in rural Ontario.  Spring brings the maple syrup lovers to Maple Syrup festivals, local pancake barns and harvests.  The autumn harvest  fall road trip  brings our the best of year and coincides with Ontario's county agricultural fall fairs and studio tours taking place on weekends.
