Ontario's Mini-Olympics: The Ontario Winter Games 

Feb. 27 to March 2, 2014:  Muskoka is the official host of the 2014 Ontario Winter Games. Muskoka is partnering with communities in Simcoe County to host winter sports events that will feature 28 sports and more than 2,300 athletes. Events will take place in communities including Bracebridge, Georgian Bay, GravenhurstHuntsvilleLake of BaysOrillia, and Midland.  Find accommodation in Muskoka.

Georgian Bay Winter Fun Vacations & Getaways

Ontario outdoor winter sports abound in this Great Lake region north of Toronto.  Snowshoeing, snowmobiling, snow tubing, downhill skiing and boarding can be combined with overnight accommodation at resorts, inns, cottages, lodges, chalets and bed and breakfast locations.  Situated in one of Ontario's best snow belt regions one can almost be guaranteed fresh snow on a daily basis.  Most ski resorts have initiated snow making equipment that extends the ski and snowboard season.
