Birch Lodge

Fish for lake trout, northern pike, and perch. our ice hut is available to our guests and we offer guided trips to remote lakes as well, if you have a snowmobile, bring it along.

Glen Echo Cottages

Our “BUNGALOWS ON THE ICE” offers a truly unique experience. Stay in our fully equipped four or six man housekeeping bungalows. Each bungalow features propane heat, lights and stove as well as a colour TV, table/chairs and a kitchen complete with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Our 6 man “Super Huts” are 25% larger than our standard bungalows and have the added features of a fishfinder, colour TV/VCR combination and a 4 burner stove complete with oven. Prefer traditional accommodations? Our four bedroom cottage is winterized. Stay in the cottage and we’ll transport you to a warm and well equipped day hut.

Agia Maria Inn and Resort

The year around resort is located 5 minutes south of Gull Lake and is a favourite ice fishing destination. Enjoy a comfortable inn room, cottage or luxury suite. Kitchenettes and MAP available. Most units have fireplaces, jacuzzis and satellite TV, WIFI. Other winter activities include skiing, skating, snowmobiling and the summer brings canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing. Watercraft on site or maybe enjoy a game of pool in our rec hall or bonfire by the river. Located just over 2 hrs from Toronto and minutes to the Town of Minden.

Come to Northern Ontario this winter to enjoy the beauty of winter in a true wilderness setting.  We primarily cater to the ice fisherman, but do rent cabins out to other winter sports enthusiasts as well.  Cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and snowmobiling are some of the more popular activities to enjoy on a winter vacation.  If you are in the area for a hockey tournament or other sports event, give us a call to rent a cabin that is fully furnished rather than the standard plain motel room.  Our rates are as affordable as any motel in the area! 

Our ice fisherman can choose to fish right out front for some terrific winter lake trout action, or be more adventurous and bring your snowmobile or atv and venture into a remote walleye and giant northern pike lake.  We can customize a fishing package to provide transportation on our lake, shack rental, and fishing gear if you prefer to travel light.  We are located under a two hour drive from Thunder Bay, Ontario.
