Ontario Cottage Rentals--Family Fun & Couples Getaways

Ontario Cottage Rentals Compare to Rest of Country.

Yesterday and today's Globe and Mail have a focus on cottage country real estate and Canadian cottage rentals. They suggest that many Canadians are preferring to rent a cottage and avoid the high cost of real estate and the taxes that go with waterfront ownership. Another trend is towards fractional ownership, where costs are collectively shared.

Depending on where and what type of cottage or cabin you want to rent, weekly rates in Ontario were identified in the Globe to range from $600. in north east Ontario or as high as $10,000 per week in Muskoka. Travel in Ontario can be reasonable or extravagant

Many Ontario vacation enthusiasts can opt for a cottage-resort facility with meals and recreational facilities included.

The Ontario Travel North of Toronto website has an extensive list of cottage country options for Ontario summer Vacation residents
