The Simcoe County Museum offers a wide range of March Break, Summer and Winter day camps for children between the ages of 6 and 12
- Maclaren Art Centre Art Classes During March Break
March 16– March 20, 2009 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Join us at the MacLaren Art Centre for a week of art making with local artist Julie Robb. Each day will focus on a new activity and participants
will enjoy a tour of current exhibitions for added inspiration. Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture and Drawing are in the spotlight for this fun
and interactive week! It is recommended that campers register in advance as spaces fill up quickly.

Participants will compose and perform songs with inspiration drawn from the beauty of their natural environment, the stories and adventures
of , R.D. Lawrence Place the rich history of Minden Hills and the Haliburton Highlands.
The young songwriters will then perform their creations at the day’s end using voice, body percussion, found sounds, drums and other rhythm
instruments!
Instructors: Barry "Bazza" Hayward and Stacy Kirkbride. COST: $25 per age 8+
