    Join us at the MacLarenArtCentre for an engaging week of art making, the perfect way to keep the kids busy during March Break! Students will work with a variety of media including painting, printmaking and sculpture.   • Haliburton Forest and Wild Life Reserve
    March Break Day Camp at Haliburton Forest
    Participating youths will join our staff for 3 days of adventure during March Break. This day camp will provide youths aged 10 - 14 with a very active and adventurous time. Activities for the 3 days will include: X-country skiing, snowshoeing, winter survival activities such as shelter building, orienteering as well as visits to the Wolf Centre and dog kennels. Participants are asked to bring lunch for each day.

    This three day dash has a different theme everyday! They are: space, mining & minerals and exploration. During Space Day, participants will build a simple telescope, see real meteorite samples, and learn more about our solar system while creating a (miniature) planet! Day two is Mining and Minerals Day, when participants will do some bird-seed mining, make and taste toothpaste, work with mineral paints, and then create a rock and identify its type. Day three is Exploration Day when your child will make a compass, search for fossils, learn about geologists’ tools and participate in an exciting scavenger hunt.

Thunder Bay Area:
