The AWRS's Tim Winegard in partnership with renowned naturalist, expedition guide and photographer Robin Tapley and Jamie Giardini have developed new programs to highlight wildlife research in Algonquin Park. Programs will focus on developing an understanding of wildlife life-history strategies (biology, ecology, behaviour) and how this can benefit ones photographic, naturalist, or other outdoor pursuits.

March Break Camp
Come out and have some fun with Hardwood during March Break. These 2-hour sessions will be full of fun, games, skiing and even some tobogganing. Sign your child up for one, two or all three of these sessions. For children 5- 10 years of age. Please sign up early or it may be full! The price does not include a trail pass. $29 each class or $75 for all three!
Spring Fling & Salomon Races
This is a fun day of activities to wrap up the ski season. Skiers of all ages and abilities can participate. The morning consists of more serious events (only slightly serious), but the afternoon is dedicated to just having a good time. The Salomon mixed relay is 3 x 3km; the first leg of the relay is classic skiing, the second and third may be skate or classic. One team member must be female. Costume Content & Poker Ski in the afternoon!
