Continue(approx 4 km) on 93 west to Simcoe County Road 19 also known as the Moonstone Road.

Watch for Simcoe County Forest Signs as you approach the turn, and immediately after the turn. There are access roads into the forest if you need a quick walk , or a nice fall hike along Simcoe Country trails to stretch your legs.

You will drive straight north 14 km to a set of lights at Highway 12.

When you come to the first stop sign, proceed with caution strait ahead (north) where the road changes to The Old Fort Road.

Drive for approximately 2 km and watch for the Autumn Harvest Farms sign and a very large Pumpkin Patch. You can purchase pumpkins and gourds and nicely decorated farm baskets.

When leaving the farm, turn left on the Old Fort Road on your way to Midland.

At the stop light, turn left, and get ready to make an immediate left at the signs for Sainte-Marie among the Huron’s (once called Fort Ste. Marie) and the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre home to the endangered Trumpeter Swan.

Immediately across from the Wye Marsh you will see the Martyr’s Shrine. Additional locations to visit are Huron Museum Village, Ouendat Native Village, or you can take a cruise on the Miss Midland around the Islands and Inlets of Georgian Bay’s 30,000 Islands.

When you are ready to leave Midland...proceed west on Highway 12 to Highway 93, turn left at the lights.
