Ontario Beaches Winter Wonderlands
Breaking waves and ice formation offer up photographic opportunities on beaches during a Canadian winter. Many beaches offer nice flat walking,cross country skiing and snowshoeing for beginners. Ontario beach resorts are plentiful in resort destinations north of Toronto. Beach activities at Ontario resorts are private for registered guests and offer boating and water based activities. Favourite beach resort destinations can be found on Ontario Lakes such as Lake Ontario, Lake Simcoe, Georgian Bay, Muskoka Lakes, and Algonquin area lakes.

Ontario Beach News: Waters are cool and clean north of Toronto. According to Blue Flag reports over the past few years Ontario has some of the best beaches, and many of those fresh water beaches are in beach resort destinations north of Toronto. 2011 is the fifth year for Blue Flag designations. Some Ontario Marinas have been included. Clean beaches and clean water makes for great fishing opportunities.
