SNOWSHOEING 101

Come and learn the basics of snowshoeing at the Wye Marsh, beginner, intermediate and avid snowshoer’s are welcome—you just might learn something new! Wednesday's February 8th till 29th. Cost is $50 plus a one time $10 rental fee for snowshoes, if needed. This includes your admission so feel free to stay a while at the Marsh.

FULL MOON SNOWSHOE/SKI

The Wye Marsh keeps its doors open late, for this special event of snowshoeing or
skiing by the light of the full moon. From 6-9pm, enjoy the fresh air and sounds of crunching snow under your feet. Bring your own mug and warm up with some hot chocolate as a nice treat at the end of the evening. $5 + HST for members and $10 +HST for non-members this cost includes rental of traditional snowshoes, upgrading is available for an additional cost. (Weather dependant)

FAMILY DAY

Family day, not to be confused with Family night, when you play board games with your family in the living room. Check out what Wye Marsh has to offer on Family day this year, we will have plenty of activities in store. Bannock roasting, bird feeder craft, snowman dress up, snowball target throwing, winter bingo (scavenger hunt) and many other activities will await you at the marsh. (some activities will be weather dependant)

GARFIELD DUNLOP LASAGNA DINNER

Garfield Dunlop is once again hosting the Lasagna Dinner at the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre. Dinner is catered by ELM Catering, and will be happening March 2nd, the evening happens with 3 sittings for dinner; 4:30pm, 5:30pm and 6:30pm. Please call early to get your tickets for the seating you prefer. (First come, first serve for each sitting). All proceeds will be donated to the Wye Marsh.
