Registrations are now being accepted for the 2008 Haliburton
School of the Arts program.
With
over 60 new courses and more than 20 new instructors blended with favourite
returns, it's an exciting program.
Painting, guitar, glassblowing, pottery, jewellery, sand
sculpture, belly dancing, chainsaw carving, beading, improvisation,
musical instrument construction, choral singing, floor cloths, writing,
quilting, and so much more. Retreat on your own or bring the family!
The 2008 program of the Haliburton School of the Arts spans the calendar,
the ages, the skill levels, and the seemingly unrestrained range of techniques
and media. With an eclectic and extensive variety of courses offered at
a range of skill levels, there's something for everyone!
The
schedule of courses clearly illustrates our enduring commitment to art
and craft education and the enrichment of the arts community. Weeklong
adult courses are accepted as credits toward Fleming College's Visual
& Creative Arts Diploma. There are also courses that are part of the
Expressive Arts Ontario Graduate Certificate from Fleming College.
