with body wraps. 'We added the Deluxe Chocolate Wrap in time for Valentine's
Day; it was so popular that we added our Merlot Wine Wrap, and our Full
Body Detox Wrap. Our latest addition is the Golden Goddess Wrap,' states
Elizabeth Borrow, Avalon's Spa Manager. 'In fact our owner, Countess Von
Goertz prefers this wrap, she likes how her skin shimmers with tiny gold
sparkles, the aroma says elegance and sophistication to her and the energizing
affect of this treatment must be experienced to be believed,' adds Borrow

Avalon the Spa at Christie's Mill is located in the lake country boutique
Inn at Christie's Mill located in Port Severn, the western gateway to
Muskoka on Georgian Bay. The Inn has undergone many transformations over
the past 8 years. The Inn known as the 'Count's Muskoka Retreat' was purchased
in 2002 by Count Von Goertz, since than the Count has added a $10 Million
"Counts Wing Addition" which opened in 2004 and features Avalon
Spa, a Salt Water Mineral Pool and 15 'over the top suites' one of which
is furnished with the Counts own Antique Furniture.
Avalon Spa's Manager encourages her guests to use the Salt Water Mineral
Pool before or after their personalized treatments. 'The pool's salt water
detoxifies the skin and is the perfect preparation for all of the body
treatments and helps the relaxation process before entering the Countess
Suite. The Countess Suite includes the River Bath which creates a cascading
effect to relax the muscles in preparation for the couples massage treatments.
The gentle lighting, the aromas and the soothing massage is perfect for
quality time with that someone special whether it be your life partner,
sister or best friend.'
The Inn at Christie's Mill has undergone extensive renovations this fall
and will be reopening its doors on Friday, November 17. Avalon Spa is
gearing up for the Christmas Season too. 'We have many Christmas Parties
booked and a day at the spa is part of the celebration,' says Borrow.
Borrow adds that many of her guests purchase an Avalon Spa Gift Certificate
which is a perfect gift for that person that has everything.
As a reopening special The Inn at Christie's Mill is offering guests
a 50% discount off weekday room rates from November 20 th to December
20th and a Two can dine for the price of One on weekdays from November
20th to December 20th. Both offerings are available Sunday through Thursday
only.
