Haliburton County Snowmobile Trails

We have been able to groom some of the trails and they are now Open. The groomers are doing a great job and the trails are looking nice.

Moose and Eagle Lakes are now staked and Open.

The floating bridge is now installed. Signage is in place and the reroute of the trail thru Minden north to the #2 and #4 trails has been done as well.

As you all know, we must have a minimum of 10 inches of ice on any lake crossing before we will stake it. Please be careful and stay off lakes even though they look safe. Warmer conditions may have changed the status of the ice, so please be careful.

  • Overview:
Excellent skiing awaits the skier in Haliburton! Grooming today through most of the system will be touched up as necessary, our snow level is deep and typical for this time of year, and temperatures are normal and stable. Come enjoy the powder.
  • Please have your valid ski pass visible at all times.
  • You must have a valid pass to ski our trails--available at participating resorts and at honesty boxes at trail-heads at Glebe, Moosewoods and Twin Lakes. Every dollar we take in from ski passes goes directly into maintaining our non-profit system. If you wish to economise or prefer not to pay for skiing, then go find a lake to ski on. Please don't walk or snowshoe or take your dogs on the ski trails around the resorts or elsewhere.
  • Glebe Park: 10km skate and classic. Groomed Wednesday.
  • The Resort Area: 13km skate and classic. Groomed Tuesday.
  • Moosewoods: 13km skate and classic. Groomed Tuesday, limited skiing on hydroline cut.
  • Twin Lakes Trails :To be groomed Friday. Please Park at the new Parking Lot/Trail Head off Twelve Mile Lake Rd W. The first 200 m of trail is rough until more snow arrives. All of the new trails are open and skiable but take caution as there are wet spots and exposed debris in some places until we get more snow. Dog freindly.
  • Lakeview Trail Groomed last week with 2-4cm of fluff on top.
  • Camp Wanakita:info @ 457-2132.
