400Eleven Fall Colour 2007 Road Trip for Auto Enthusiasts includes Largest Outdoor Auto Show in North America

North of Toronto Canada……….September, 2007.
The fall is a perfect time for a road trip especially for new auto and classic car enthusiasts. Several suggested fall colour routes start in Barrie Ontario, and lead north, East, South and West. Two car shows are featured in September in Huntsville and Barrie.

BARRIE

The perfect weekend getaway for auto enthusiast who want to look at 2008 models is being held in Barrie Ontario on the weekend of September 28, 29, 30. The latest models from major manufacturers, hot sports cars, classic cars, Pfaff Porsche AutocrossTracks course, and fun for the kids in the KidZone will highlight the 22 Annual Georgian College Auto Show. at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario.

The Barrie event is dubbed the largest outdoor auto show in North America, hosts most major automobile manufacturers and features over 250 new vehicles, valued at over $15-million. Produced and operated by Canadian Automotive Institute (CAI) students, the Auto Show is a learning lab, offering students hands-on experience with manufacturers and the public.

The Show runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and admission is $5 at the gate. Kids under 12 are free. Visitors traveling to Barrie, Ontario or those traveling north through Barrie are encouraged to visit the show which opens at noon on Friday September 28th. There is a selection of fall getaway overnight packages at http://www.400eleven.com/getaways-fall.html available for both couples and families.

HUNTSVILLE

The Historical Automobile Society of Canada-Muskoka Region along with the Huntsville BIA bring you Shades of Autumn on Saturday October 16. Main Street will be closed at 7 am and the festivities start at 9 am and carry on to 5 pm. Trophies, draws and prizes available for all participants. Vote for your favorite in the People s Choice Award. This is an open competition to everyone with a vintage, antique, or custom car with over 300 cars on exhibit. See Huntsville Ontario.
