Ontario March Break Packages and Getaways

The Ontario holiday period of March 10-March 19, 2006 is the time for most school boards in Ontario to take the annual “March Break” or spring break. More than 25 March break getaway packages are available for family fun or for a special getaway spa or romantic package without the kids. Package prices vary dependining on the number in your group, type of accommodation or family and meal choice.

Guests can select from a variety of packages where they can build an igloo, enjoy a sleigh ride, participate in snow tube races, kids games and activities, including skiing downhill or cross country, skating, snowshoeing, and ice fishing. You can also pretend you are in the Olympics and try the downhill ‘luge’ package. Several Ontario Resorts are providing sugar bush tours where they will be making maple syrup.

Select a variation of hotels, motels, cottages, resorts or cabins with some exciting value getaways will make the 2006 spring break a vacation to remember.

Many destinations will feature events and festivals, kids camps, Maple Syrup festivals and fun competitions. Watch for changing events and festivals listed for the March spring break period.
