Click Here For Additional Ontario Snowmobiling

A snowmobile adventure can be as close as The Best Western Highland Inn & Conference Centre and the Comfort Inn in Midland or Bayview Wildwood Resort in Severn Bridge. For the more adventurous the drive to Dwight and a stay at the Dwight Village Motel will provide you with machine rentals delivered to the motel on well groomed trails that lead you to the front door or the drive to Southern Muskoka to Port Severn and a stay at Sunnylea Resort where snowmobile trail "c" goes right past their front door. Wilson Lake Resort in Port Loring has a great selection of snowmobile trails. Birch Lodge in Blind River has great snowmobile trails just minutes away. Chippawa Cottage Resort in Barry's Bay offers snowmobile rentals. Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville has snowmobile packages to suit the family. Winter Snowmobile Getaways can be enjoyed by the family at Auberge-sur-lac B&B in Sudbury, Loralea Country Inn Resort in Minden, Mountain Springs Lodge in Collingwood and Wigamog Inn Resort in Haliburton. You will find nice snowmobiling weather at Pleasant Cove Resort at Pointe au Baril, Sunny Point Resort at Parry Sound (Muskoka), and Woodland Echoes Resort at Magnetawan.

The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) is the organization in Ontario that regulates and maintains the official trail system. OFSC trails are clearly marked and well-defined corridors with fewer dangerous surprises. Because they are groomed and used regularly, overall they are smoother and wider, with better sight lines and fewer hazardous corners, intersections, inclines and obstacles. Most water crossings and ditches are bridged and ice crossings are usually staked or tree lined. Traffic signs are prevalent throughout the system to give riders as much advance warning as possible of trail conditions ahead.
