in Ontario traditions bring sports, culture, recreation together for
family outdoor fun. March is a special month for the Ontario
Winter Games where a competitive atmosphere following the Olympics
should make for a fun exciting time. The Canadian spirit is always present
one of the many winter carnivals, snow fests, winterfests, ice festivals
north of Toronto where winter
sports such as skating, dog sledding, ice carvings, outdoor ice slides,
ice mazes, snow tubing,toboggan rides, wood splitting, wood burning fires,
axe throwing, lumberjack antics, snow tubing, hot chocolate, hot cider,
facepainting, clowns, and smash-up car derbies. Get ready now for the
fourth year of the long weekend family day on February Day in 2011. Ontario
residents will have a greater opportunity to get outdoors in Ontario and
experience winter.
