Ontario Halloween Events, Halloween Activities & Fun Halloween Parties
Look no further, here are scary (and not-so-scary) Halloween Events Near and Far North of Toronto:
Our Halloween page has been promoting some great pumpkin themed events and Halloween fun taking place in the best destinations of Ontario. Halloween can be a tricky holiday for families, not all Halloween events are small children friendly. But when you get it right, it really is up as a contender for most fun holiday. We asked around and confirmed that the Halloween spirit (both present and passed!) is still a big big thing. We also learned there’s Halloween fans out there made up of kids of all ages.
Great Pumpkin Patches, Festivals and even a cannon that shoots pumpkins into a field!
Sometimes it is hard to tell what is a family friendly event from an event that might traumatize your wee ones. Families with young children can enjoy all the non scary stuff like pumpkin patches, wagon rides and cute farm animals. Not only fun these activities fun for children, but parents will go home with a million cute images of their little pumpkins with pumpkins. Many event goers go every year and have a strong Halloween tradition with other families and friends. Kids can enjoy creepy crafts, trick or treat stations, face painting and other family fun activities.
It’s getting very creepy up north!
The fields, forests, sleep-away camps and other dark and spooky areas up north are a perfect backdrop to the imagination of many creative event planners. Every year you can expect something new to scare you to your evil heart’s delight. Dark nights, fog, owls and bats and ghost stories from the past, Ontario has a lot in nature and in lore to enrich and ensure everyone enjoys Halloween events and activities.
We are posting a few more details here of a couple of great family and kid friendly events and a couple of events that have a little more fear for those looking to turn up the fright meter. These are maybe new events you have no heard about, and definitely need to check out.
First of all, there is one event that hits both these marks. Pumpkinferno at Discovery Harbour in Penetanguishene is a huge event and is very clear about where not to go if you don’t want to enter the Terror Zone (but you should, if you dare!).
