The Coronavirus COVID-19 has greatly affected travel all over the world and has impacted many tourism operators in Ontario for the upcoming March Break.
In order to keep the spread of the virus down some events and activities are being cancelled, postponed or modified, like Coachella, the NBA and NHL have done already. International vacations are being canceled or postponed and even in Ontario people are choosing to stay home and self isolate as much as possible.
These decisions lie with the event or activity organizer and change day by day. All we can suggest is that if you plan on heading out to do something, call ahead and make sure your event or activity is still taking place.
While we are encouraged to distance ourselves socially at this time, there are still lots of activities to go out and do, while keeping away from large crowds and public places. Stay vigilant, wash your hands and remember, attending these events or activities will also help keep your mind busy, entertained and having fun. If staying home is getting to be too much, there are still a few things you do.
In order to help you, we plan to update our March Break Events and Activities page daily by marking events as canceled or postponed beside their information. We continue to encourage you to check the host website for the most current information.
Head over to our March Break Events and Activities page and check it daily for updates.
