Quarantine Activity: Explore the Downtown Midland Outdoor Murals

Ontario Quarantine Activity - Explore Downtown Midland Murals

If you’re looking for something to do outdoors up north in Ontario during the Covid-19 Coronavirus quarantine, check out the outdoor mural collection scattered throughout Downtown Midland, Ontario. Hiking and walking are both great outdoor activities to do alone or with a family member but if you’re looking for something different or getting bored, this is a great option – the Instagram friendly pics are a bonus!! You can even check them all out just driving around and not even get out of your car.

Midland is located on the shores of Georgian Bay about 90 minutes north of Toronto. We do not recommend this activity unless you are local or live close to Midland. Remember that restaurant and public places are closed so there will be limited washrooms etc. Think of this as a ‘good time, not a long time’ activity.

The murals depict the town and area’s rich history and are one of the largest outdoor mural collections in north America.

Use the Google Map below with mural locations posted and marked with wee binoculars.
