Depending on your drive, you’ll find action anywhere from 1 hour away from Toronto to 5. Our events are not limited to highways 400 and 11 either. These are just the first two highway suggestions to travel north and find adventure in Ontario.

“TAY” Canada Day Celebrations

June 21 - June 22

Tay Canada Day Celebrations

It all starts on the 21st June at 5:00pm with a scrumptious Steak on a Bun dinner put on by the Victoria Harbour and District Lions, where patrons can listen and dance to one of the region’s best country bands, “The Outlaw Sons” with a cameo performance by Nashville Country recording artist Jade Mya At 8:30pm folks will be Country Rocking to the #1 rated Garth Brooks and Toby Keith Tribute bands including a special Tribute to Elton John.

On 22nd June starting at 12:00 noon everyone will be treated to one the best Canada Day Parades in Simcoe County. This year the Military is coming out in Full Force. Fabulous prizes for the best decorated bicycles (Jr & Sr Category), Best Decorated Lawn Tractor and Float. Thereafter chow down on FREE Hamburgers and Sausages provided by Wye Heritage Marina and FREE Hot Dogs by the Ladies Auxiliary. Saturday afternoon shortly after the 1 pm opening Ceremonies, be prepared for and afternoon filled with live, dynamic bands and musicians from the local area.

Don’t miss the Exotic Petting Zoo, Balloon Twisters, Face Painters, A unicyclist/magician and comedian and a full contingent of Artisans and Crafters selling their wares, Children’s Watermelon eating contest and Water Balloon toss.

At 8:30 pm the tent will ROCK to North America’s best “AC/DC” Tribute Band, “21 Gun Salute”. The Port McNicoll Anglers and Hunters will provide Food for Both evenings and the Recreation and Culture Committee will provide pop, chips, coffee, etc.

This fabulous event is not to be missed!

The day’s entertainment if completely FREE. Cost for the evening entertainment for each night is $15.00 per wristband bought in advance and $20.00 at the gate. The Venue fills up quickly, so don’t delay purchasing your wristbands.
