On August 11 & 12, 2012, Beach Booster Promotions will bring back the fun and excitement of yesteryear on this stretch of Main Street. Back to The BEACH event will remind all with memories of the good old days of Wasaga Beach that fun and entertainment can come back to The Beach! Beaches north in Ontario Canada Get 2012 Blue Flag Designation

This summer, 17 beaches and four marinas will fly the Blue Flag in Canada. Blue Flag is an international eco-label awarded to beaches and marinas that meet high environmental standards. And as the program marks its 25th year, Canada sees the first certified beaches and marinas outside Ontario.   Manitoba, Quebec and Nova Scotia are receiving Blue Flags for the first time.  Ontario Beaches in the upper great lakes include

  • Grand Bend Beach, Grand Bend Marina and Port Franks Marina on Lake Huron in the Municipality of Lambton Shores
  • Bayfield Main Beach and Bluewater Marina on Lake Huron in the Municipality of Bluewater
  • Station Beach on Lake Huron in Kincardine
  • Sauble Beach on Lake Huron in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula
  • Wasaga Beach Provincial Park, on Georgian Bay, stay in Collingwood or Wasaga Beach
