The second annual Severn Winterfest will be held January 24-26, 2020 at Orillia & District Agricultural Society (ODAS Park). Many great events are in the works including a demolition derby, dance, ice bar, roller skating, igloo village, pancake breakfast, walking trail, giant snow slide, wagon rides, and of course the polar bear dip.

Canadian National Pond Hockey Championships
Haliburton
January 24-25 & January 31 – February 1, 2020
The Canadian National Pond Hockey Championships is a return to the grass roots of Canadian hockey…a chance to celebrate the game in its purest form.  On average, over 300 games are played over the two weekends with teams from 18 US states and over a dozen countries (including Botswana and Japan) and 700 – 1000 players will attend the event over two weekends.

Bracebridge Fire & Ice Festival
Bracebridge, Muskoka

The Fire & Ice Festival is set to return to Downtown Bracebridge this January! The festival offers a unique approach to a traditional winter carnival. “FIRE” features will include fire artist as well as fire pits throughout the Downtown. “ICE” features will include interactive ice displays, a downtown tube run and a new skating trail, located in Memorial Park. In addition, there will be Winter “try-it” activities, road hockey tournament and traditional carnival activities to complement the event.  A souvenir button will be your passport to fun.
